Paloma Beach

Today I went to my favorite beach on the French Riviera: Paloma Beach at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. It is located on a peninsula next to Beaulieu-sur-Mer and to Villefranche-sur-Mer and extends out to Cap FerratIts tranquillity and warm climate make it my favorite holiday destination amongst European aristocracy and international millionaires but also mine. Even though It is only half and hour away from Nice , It feels like going to another heaven.
In 1905, Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild chose Cap Ferrat to build a Tuscan style palazzo, now known as Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild museum; part of the history of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat which you can visit today along with his magnificent garden.
Today Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat has probably some of the most expensive real estate in the world and continues to attract the rich and famous. It is truly one of the crown jewels of the French Riviera.
Paloma beach is one of the three beaches of the peninsula but It is my favorite like I already said. Being on a northeast-facing shore and at the base of some tall cliffs, this beach is the most protected from winds, and has less sun in the afternoons which for me is perfect. The location is about a 5–10 minutes walk from the port.
